The Camel’s Hump

This chapbook — no longer in print — showcased a cascading style of verse I “invented” that was inspired in part by Emily Dickinson’s work.

My first self-published collection of poetry was originally titled Before Medea back when I was hell-bent on writing an epic to counter the horrid reputation given by Euripides’ play. That poem has yet to be written, the collection was re-titled, and — eventually — the collection was taken out of print for reasons related to things I was learning about the poetry-publishing world.

While the collection is no longer in print, you can enjoy the poems in the ASMR video I recorded for YouTube (listen for the poem that gave the book it’s ultimate title).
